Dangerous Dave

This game, to put it simply, rocks. Of course, I'm not allowed to only put that in my review, so I'll go into more detail.

What it lacks in graphics it makes up for in rockiness, um, I mean, addictiveness? There need to be more 2-D games these days where you never have trouble finding your way around (because there's only left, right, up and down) and you can always see when there's an enemy behind you. Games these days are too realistic.

You have to worry about everything from health to ammo to how many shots it takes to kill that enemy with that weapon. It's OK for The Sims to be this complicated and realistic, but when it comes to adventure type games, getting back to basics and playing Dangerous Dave can often be more fun than modern games.

Or maybe I'm just too lazy to learn the controls for new games. Whatever it is, Dangerous Dave was a great game back in the 90s when it first came out, and it's still great today.

Dangerous Dave, for some reason is fun and addictive. The graphics are terrible and the sound is annoying, yet the game still seems to pull you towards it. The object of the game is to collect gold cups to advance to the next level. Considering how small this game is, give it a try.

Although the graphics suck and you can't get the annoying sounds out of your head, this is one of the best computer games ever made. At the age of 3 years I saw my brothers and sisters playing it all of the time. Once I got a little older I saw why. There's just something about it that's like a vacuum that sucks you in. This is a very, very, very frikkin' good game!

Dude... If you never played a DOS game, you should try this one! When I played this game, it was a bit hard... Yeah... I've cried too, HAHAHA! I didn't cry, I was just joking! Anyway, the whole game is great! The storyline is cool... Your platform gaming skill has to be over 53% to play that game.
